Jack the Ripper tour from Tower Bridge, or what about an evening ride on the London Eye, or go up the Shard in the evening, both have brilliant views at night.

Shopping? The Westfields (White City and Stratford) are open till late on weekdays/Saturdays. Last year on a visit to London I stayed near Shepherds Bush and went shopping at the Westfield White City at night since it was open until 10pm!

We went to a comedy club, three professional acts and three open mic ones. They sold food and drink. It was a fun night out.

Go for a drink on the Tattershall Castle and enjoy spectacular views of London Eye and the South Bank. Walk up to Covent Garden area and wander about taking in the atmosphere around Leicester Square and Soho. The Shard was mentioned and this gives you a 360 view of the city at night. There are places to eat and drink in nearby Borough Market and you can walk through the market along the river and work your way up to the London Eye if you like a longer walk.

The Ice Bar is good fun and you don't have to be big drinkers to enjoy it. I think you get two drinks (served in ice glasses) included in the price of entry.
