It went really well thanks everyone! Cant take photos at the shelter for obvious reasons, but can safely say the meal was very gratefully received by everyone, volunteers and guests alike, lots of happy full tummys! My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves too, I think she will volunteer more next year.
Cooking for six tomorrow will be a doddle now!  Thanks for all the kind comments - happy christmas everyone x
