New Credit Card policy?
I'm hoping a better brain than mine can enlighten me So I sort of get the $100 but if you have to pay for your holiday before you go, how can their be any "remaining balance" ? I'm basically trying to work out how much they are going to "hold" for a 31 night stay? Previous limit was $1500 & every time we hit that our card was debited, now they are going to charge the card every 5 days, not a problem... It sort of reads like they "Hold" $100 then when you exceed that they hold another $100- Is this correct ?

I think the remaining balance thing is for non-DVC that pay on arrival for their accommodation - so mostly those that book on the USA site, they normally pay a deposit of 1 night up front and the rest on check-in.
The way I read it, they will auth $100 on check in then keep authing your card for another $100 once you have reached the first auth limit. Then every 5 days they will charge your card. The only issue I can see is Card companies seeing multiple auths and blocking the card. If that happens your charging privileges will be blocked until its sorted. Edit- so basically what you said!
