Excellent thank you! Saves putting aside a day for that then! 😂👍

We did 8 nights in San Diego and still could have spent more time there. There is so much to see and do and its a beautiful city. it is so clean, easy to navigate and the people there are incredibly helpful and friendly. Probably the nicest place I have ever visited.

It sounds wonderful, I’m certainly sold on San Diego thank you! Starting to wish I hadn’t upgraded my Anaheim hotel and just extended my San Diego plans.

Hi again understand your thoughts but if you stay that amount of time in LA we think it will actually be worse. It not an easy place to get around as the traffic , well can be a nightmare. It's approx 100 miles across so you may well spend a lot of time in a car so not so good for you. I would now suggest you split your stay there to ease the driving. Other option would be do 4/5 n there and then move to San Diego and then go to vegas from there through Palm Springs. Hope this helps

Hi, thank you for your ideas. We’re staying in Anaheim at the Hyatt regency, our plans while here are Disney and knotts berry with a San Diego break inbetween. If we get chance we plan on doing Hollywood celeb homes? My understanding was Anaheim is outside of LA. Am I wrong? I thought being in Anaheim would be quieter traffic wise :-( starting to question what bit of planning I’ve done now 🙈 thank you for your help and advice it’s certainly needed! 😂

Yes Anaheim is not in LA, it is in Orange County. However, most people who live there work in LA so the commute traffic north from 6-10am is insane. Could take 2 1/2 hours from Anaheim to Hollywood and again going back to Anaheim in the evening from 4-7.

Is your hotel pre paid or can it be changed? Are you double paying for accommodation the night you stay in San Diego?

When you say coming back Vegas to Anaheim overnight are you driving overnight and then checking into a hotel in Anaheim in the morning I’m confused. I don’t see any reason to come back to Anaheim again, I would get a Southwest flight from Vegas early morning and a day room near LAX or drive back during the day and get a good nights sleep in an LAX hotel.

Edited at 09:44 PM.

Yes during the 9nights at Hyatt in Anaheim we will do an overnight stay in San Diego. Double booking I know but it’s originally a package holiday and we’ve just paid separately for the San Diego it actually worked out cheaper than checking out and in again at Anaheim. We don’t intend on touching LA other than if we decide to go there for the celeb homes (not yet decided).

After Vegas we’re driving back to Anaheim and staying at knotts berry hotel (doing the park) overnight before a late flight back from lax.
Hope that makes a bit more sense. 🙈

Confusing I know 🙈
