API and no middle name

Hi guys trying to fill in my api but I don’t have a middle name and it keeps rejecting my info and taking me back to that box. Obviously it has to match my passport and ESTA. Anyone got any advice please.

You could try typing none in the box it might work

Didn't know you can do API so far in advance so maybe that's why it is rejecting it. It is usually done as part of Online check in these days but I may be wrong, Dibbers please correct me.

The other 3 members of my family (who do all have middle names ) have been accepted so just mine

I agree try a dot, and see if that helps. Don’t worry to much if you don’t get it to work as you can give the details at check in as far as I know. With regard to it being to early to enter your API this is not true, I entered my api back in June last year for our trip in May this year with BA

Dot usually works for me -I don't have a middle name

Sadly the dot isn’t working will have to get in touch with the travel agents and see what they advise. Thanks everyone

We are flying Delta in July and they have said only enter API at online check in or at airport if checking in that way.

Try putting N/A in the box.
