They don’t know! And I don’t believe that the cast members at the entrance of the ride really care.
It comes up with a name on their screen, they don’t know if it’s your name or not and they never questioned why I had a mans name when using my husbands band. Op we’ve done it quite a few times without issue. |

I have been here all week and seen people doing this. I don't mind people who are using spare passes from a group but I have seen large groups pushing through and not everyone using the green panel as the group was large I guess the cast member doesn't see everyone. They then have a few free passes and dash in again! a bit naughty really.

Your details come up on a screen behind the Mickey scanners, usually at the second scan point (I think).
I've seen it show my name - which it extracts from my MDE account. I'm not sure whether it shows if the ticket associated to the fastpass is for a child or adult, but it could extract that info from the MDE account as well, if it wanted. Names are a bit of a different thing. Anyone can have any name. I know a guy called Tracy, for example. Plus there are lots of people from other countries who have names I can't even pronounce and most of us wouldn't know whether they were male or female names. Whereas the discrepancy is a lot more obvious if a 48 year old man uses a fastpass linked to a child's ticket (for example). I might actually be called Hannah, but clearly I am not less than 10 years old. However, as said, currently the CMs don't really care.

I can’t see why it would be a problem as your still getting the the same amount of fast passes as everyone else.
Ie 4 of u get 12 FP a day so I can’t see the problem if someone uses all 12 of them for all different rides it just means the other 3 people have to queue or miss out. |

You're right...
However, officially it is against Disney's rules. Disney may decide in the future to clamp down on the rules. That will probably only happen if someone finds a way to abuse this and make some money out of it. I'm not sure how - perhaps some local Annual Pass holders might enter a park and then sell off their fastpasses to the highest bidder? It was why Disney stopped people from using fastpasses associated with tickets that hadn't been used to enter the park.
