I am so very sorry for your loss. Must be an awful time for you. Xx

I've just taken its down as we fly on Sunday. I hate taking them down so early but couldn't face them still being up when we get back.

I like the decorations up until after new year. Especially with kids being off until the 7th! Will probably take them down on the 5th.

This is the longest that we’ve kept the tree up as I’m usually itching to pack it away after Boxing Day. We’ll probably take it down today though. We’ve already taken down the cards and the bits that made the room look cluttered. We get new decorations every year and I need to get rid of some stuff this year or I don’t think it will all pack away into the three big boxes we put into the attic.

I'm aiming to keep the ( real) tree up until the first weekend in February at least
It's out of the way in the conservatory but lovely to look at through the lounge patio door
Don't see the point in taking stuff down so early , if it's nice to look at , why rush to take it down ? As long as it's not in the way , leave it up
Do those who take the trees down early go into the garden late Summer and chop down all the flowers that are still in bloom ?
I realise I'm in the minority but why pack happiness away ? ( Of course, real sympathy for those for whom Christmas is a difficult time of year )

Ours are coming down today, we have our granddaughter all day tomorrow so can't do it then.
We are out on New Year's Day and then I'm in work Wednesday through till Saturday so today is really our only chance to get the house sorted.
