We have our 3 dogs ashes in 'burial stones' under their favourite tree in the garden. DH put a plaque on the tree 'A very fine dog lives here'. They're unobtrusive but we know they're there.

I like these
 some lovely keepsakes and tributes on this website. We hope to get our 16 year old cat Betty’s ashes back next week so plan a small tree and maybe one of these under it in her favourite viewing place where she’s always sat   |

Our two Labradors small wooden caskets live on our 'Dog Shelf' in the living room in pride of place along with a small wooden box containing bottles of their fur, photos and two Black Labrador statues we choose carefully as they look like our dear departed friends. In the garden they have a memorial with two Labradors figures, blue and pink crystals and a 'Best friend's plaque. Miss them everyday all these many months on but have a little comfort that they are still with us.
