Insurance confusion
Okay I have an annual policy which I’m perfectly happy with, apart from it doesn’t have SAFI cover ( scheduled airline failure) I’m travelling with TC. I’m not particularly worried that TC will go under before May My daughter does have SAFI on her policy. She is also the lead passenger so she and my grandson will get there money back if flight CX. From there policy but she won’t get paid out for the total amount as obviously I’m not on her policy I am considering taking out a one visit insurance policy , one that covers SAFI. What do you think sensible or overthinking ? |

I'm not sure why you're thinking about insurance for something you're "not particularly worried" about.
Did you buy your fights using a credit card? If so, then you're covered anyway. |

Ooh, forgot, you're in Spain, so unsure how this affects your credit card protection.

Just had a look at a specialist SAFI provider and they wouldn't quote for Thomas Cook. That would definitely make me think about arranging a policy.
