Anyone booked with US dining before?
Hiya
Just wondered if there were any experiences of booking when the US free dining offer is on? I'm thinking 2020 so no guarantee anything will even be offered but thinking OKW or ssr very end Sept so UK promo if any would miss it. Wondered what tickets had to be purchased. Ideally we would take around 10 day tickets if they do such a thing. Defo need at least a week anyway. Really just looking for all and any thoughts/experiences etc. Thank you |

How do you get to the us site to book their free dining offer? I think it’s on for 2019 trips now

Yes we did it a couple of years ago staying at CBR as at that time you got standard DDP. Not sure I would do it now unless we missed the UK offer though as the maximum ticket length is 10 days and that doesn’t suit us normally. They also don’t have any discount on OKW/SSR so you’d be paying full price which is significant.
The best idea is to check it out for this year to get an idea. |

Yes we’ve done it and are doing it again this year as we got a bounceback offer for free dining over Xmas and new year which Disney U.K. never offer
We booked direct with Disney and have them transferred it to a US travel agent ad I wanted to make some changes and it’s easier for them to call Disney than for me to call. As far as tickets are concerned they normally have a minimum length of 4 day park hoppers to qualify for the free dining and the maximum they do is 10 days. If you want to stay longer than 10 days you need to make multiple reservations. We’re going for 21 days so have a 7 night and a 14 night reservation both with 4 day hopper tickets. I’ve also bought 21 day UK Ultimate tickets to cover us for the entire holiday and so that I can make my 1st +10 ADRs and fastpasses. If you want any more info just let me know.

Thanks everyone. The 10 day ticket would do us fine. I thought the US offer had finished for this year but I'll have another look.
