Excited about Disney
|
We go by your rules - get a picture with photopass, at least one fp, one character meet and a snack. We keep trying to throw a trip to Disney Springs into the mix too but haven't managed all 5 just yet!
Good to hear that you enjoyed the brunch - I haven't heard a bad review yet. And a way to enjoy California Grill with extra relaxation sounds right up my alley! I shall be keenly looking forward to reading all about it |

I'm glad you do the 4 parks properly and don't just nip in quickly, although having read your report you do all the parks properly. I love that you are a completist.
If you like sushi and charcuterie you are in for a treat with the buffet at the brunch. Also the baba station was divine in spite of the fact I was stuffed I still managed one of those. Anyway, all of that will come in the full write up, I'm in danger of telling you all about it here!

A truly exhausting day. We attempted a 4 park challenge with similar rules to yours but only made it as far as arriving at the 3rd park before we decided we'd had enough. We found it so useful being able to pick up the extra FP on your phone and managed to get loads of extras. The first time we went you could only get additional FP by visiting a kiosk which was a bit of a pain.
Well done for managing to catch up a bit on the snack credits today too. |

Me too! Its a joy to read! What are the exact rules per park?!
Photopass, snack, fastpass, one character... any ride or step quota?

A shame you didn't quite make it to all the parks when you did your challeng. You're right about booking up the extra FP. This really helped us out at Epcot and then at MK. Now not having to book and use all 3 was a real bonus, so we only had 1 booked before the day started for FOP in AK, then as soon as we could I got on the app and booked up the HS FP.
I didn't even think of a step quota. I wanted to make sure we were really in the parks so we sort of lapped them! We walked all around ak and at HS the only part we didn't go to was the new toy story area. At Epcot we walked through world showcase and all over the rest of the park and at MK we went from main street to adventureland, fantasyland and onto tomorrowland. I've seen lots of variations to the rules, but most include a ride, snack (or meal), character and photopass. I've seen people include buying a souvenir like a pin or getting a pressed penny from each park. I really would add going to a show though if we did it again as I think sitting in the cool and even just watching turtle talk with crush would have been good to get out of the heat and have a sit down.

This day looks incredible! I can't believe how much you got done! I have to admit its made me a little less cautious about planning park hopping in our next trip as you've made it look so easy! Don't think I'd have the stamina for a challenge like this though lol x

Loving your trip report so far! You did so well to do all the parks properly 😊 this is definitely something I want to do on my next trip, although I’m not as good at mornings as you!

We did a lot more park hopping this trip than we have done in previous trips. It was really nice actually, lots of days we did a different park in the evening to the morning park.
I think my family wish I wasn't quite as good at morning! It was worth it though we got so much done at AK and were out of there by around 10.
