Lots of good advice! My tips are more food orientated 🙄
Baxters (A96) serve lovely pancakes and soups Brodie Castle NT is lovely, (loads of Daffs in the springtime) their Empire biscuits were gorgeous! Outside Brodie, on the A96 is a country store which have the best cheese scones! Culloden Battlefield has stunning views over the Moray Firth. Channery Point on the Black Isle is a good spot to watch the Dolphins in the Firth Girvans in Inverness (assume its still there) do the best cakes. If you're travelling on the A96 and A9, just watchout for other road users. There used to have lots of road accidents when we lived near Inverness particularly in tourist season... Think that's it, enjoy Scotland |
