That's BA operated then. How long is the connection allowed?

That should be ok as it is same terminal, as long as it leaves Manchester on time. Good luck and enjoy NY

Those arrive and depart from Terminal 5 so 90 minutes should be no issue.

I just flew Glasgow>Heathrow>JFK last week and I was worried as had never done a connecting flight before and it was really easy and signposted so well. Heathrow Airport have a connections planner on their website that will give you step by step instructions, Just on their main website under the flight connections tab on the left. Sorry I cant post a link to it.

Since it’s a T5>T5 Connection from a domestic arrival, you won’t have to reclear security at LHR on the outbound, just a boarding pass check and then you’re in T5A departures airside. As mentioned above, a departure from one of the B/C satellite terminals is likely. 90 mins is plenty of time for this connection, you would probably still make it if the domestic was 45 mins late, albeit with some running.

I’d recommend having enough stuff to get you through the first day in your hand luggage, in case you make a shortened connection but your checked bags don’t. Even if this happened, BA has several flights a day to JFK, the bags wouldn’t be far behind you.

If you have the same connection on the return, you will have to reclear security at LHR, after immigration at T5 Connections.
