Room type at Polynesian
We have booked three standard view rooms at the Polynesian via Attraction Tickets Direct. When we booked there was a choice of standard view, lagoon view and theme park view. I was hoping to request Samoa to be close to the pool. However I have read there is now another room category: standard view, pool/marina view, lagoon and theme park. Does this mean we will not get a pool view room even though it wasn’t an option for us to book one of these at the time? Has anyone been recently with a similar booking to ours?

The standard view rooms have views of garden, car park or monorail according to the Disney room type descriptions. So unless you get upgraded to a different room type, I would say no pool view.
I have often found some room types are unavailable when I browse, sounds like this wasn’t available when you made your booking. As an irrelevant aside, pool view rooms are my least favourite, if I did get upgraded to one, I would demand to be downgraded again! |
