The 2 newer hotels are showing as under £700! Maybe a 10-day Universal holiday could be a good 'off' year compromise...? It's just the cost of food/drinks which might be the problem with that plan though.
Lots of reasonably priced offsite food.

We always do $100 a day for the 3 of us for all food and drink.

I've done several $100 a day dining food reviews on here all for places near Universal.

Dixonsontour trip reports are definitely worth a read, I’ve learned a lot from them😁. On a budget but not feeling like the trip is restricted is the key to having fun but not going crazy😃

Def look at a package which will include luggage, rent a car separately. Look at Quidco and TopCashback before booking anything. Tesco vouchers can be exchanged for various things too.

Thanks I'll take a look at the trip reports.

One final question - Cabana Bay standard room vs Endless Summer 2-bed suite. Both coming up at the same price so I'm leaning towards ES for more room, unless there's a good reason not to..?

I’d say the only reason not to is that endless summer isn’t open yet, so no reviews at the moment. But it’s universl so I doubt it will be bad.

Yes, Dreamisawish, also CB looks better located? Am I right in thinking you can use any pools of the different Universal hotels? The lazy river sounds good at CB.

Sorry if you said before, but what are your dates and where are you finding these prices! I might have to hop on them I would be tempted by the standard room at endless summer for the extra potential spending money

I've just been using ATD to price up - has anyone found better prices elsewhere at all yet? #Excited!

Looking at 18-28 August 2020 to hopefully miss the bigger August crowds!
