I ordered our Universal Orlando tickets today as we plan on spending two days there -
£561 for two days at a theme park 😕
They were he cheapest tickets i could find - from Orlando Attractions 😀

This morning I booked our internal USA flights from Salt Lake City to Orlando.

I have been toying for months over which flights to book, what time of day etc.
The overnight flights were very cheap but I am not sure it is a good idea with kids , arriving in Orlando at 5am- would we even be able to go to our hotel that early?

The direct flight with Delta was the ideal, but at over £260 each, it was not realistic.

So in the end I opted for an indirect flight with Southwest- reason being:
Southwest carry luggage for free - it adds up when paying for 4 people.
They were cheap - $112 per person.

The downside is that we have to change planes in Denver, but I have picked a flight with a 2hr stop over so hopefully there will be no rush or problems with our luggage.

So all in - four flights one way for $447.92, which google translates at £310.40 - paid on the Halifax clarity card so no fees

Booked our Orlando car hire tonight.

We need it for 4nights/5 days and I went for a Toyota Rav 4 or similar- not as big as the Dodge grand caravan I usually go for- but A LOT CHEAPER.
Best price I found was through Virgin Atlantic= £155

This is one way from MCO to Port Canaveral.
We are only really planning on Universal Orlando in the interim days so space shouldn't be a huge problem.
