Would you go to Florida without hubby/wifey?

Mrs MH is okay for me to go to Florida without her for a couple weeks. Not because she hates me (although she probably does), but so I can do things she doesn't want to do such as swimming with manatees, renting boats and kayaks etc (she hates water).

I know lots of dibbers have solo Florida trips, but would you have a 2 week Florida trip without your hubby/wife?

Yes, I often go without DH, he's "done" Disney and he doesn't like the heat of summer which is when the grandchildren can go. I do Disney, he does golf trips but we both do Florida Gulf Coast trips. Works for us.

Yes I have been on lots of hols without hubby. He works away a lot so there have been times when my parents have asked if I wanted to join them. We always have our family holiday too so he doesn't miss out, plus he doesnt get as many hols as I get with my work.

With previous Mrs BB I did WDW on my own a couple of times but that was for work (its a tough job). Not sure I could get away with that with the current Mrs BB

If we were both retired and had time to do a few holidays a year then it wouldn’t be a problem. But working and having limited time off together, then probably no. But if DH wanted to do something on holiday that I didn’t, he could do it and I’d just do something else, but we’d still enjoy the evening and a nice meal together later in the day.

I often go to Florida solo for 7 days. On the other hand my DH went to LA for 7 days this year without me. And last year my DH and DS went sking for a week without me ( I don't like snow). So each to their own.
