Day 2, part 2

So the plan for last night was to head to Epcot to complete our 3 LLMP and eat around the world.

When we were getting ready we both commented that the Yak had Yeti meal kept repeating on us. We had some Rennie in the room and also took them with us.

We rode Remy’s, Soarin and Frozen and Standby Skipper also booked us a LLMP for living with the land within minutes of requesting it bypassing a 20 minute queue.

We decided we didn’t actually want anything from the food booths so made a plan to catch the skyliner to Riveria and then catch the bus the Disney Springs for D Luxe Burger.

DH ordered the barbecued burger. I ordered the kids cheeseburger which came with a small water and apple slices. We ordered a large fries plus an orange pilsner for DH.

Total came to $43.90.

DH mopped up some grease from his burger bun when it came out, but he enjoyed his burger and surprisingly said it wasn’t too greasy.

My cheeseburger was just the right size, it was really tasty too.

We love the fries from D Luxe, I know some people on here don’t like them but they must appear to our taste buds as we have always liked them. We had the stout bbq sauce with them.

DH didn’t like his pilsner, he said it tasted too bitter.

We finished eating around 10pm and caught the bus back home.

We were absolutely shattered last night and agreed not to set any alarms for this morning and have a slow start before going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

Credits left - $883.86

Steps - 21,126

The plan today is breakfast out, outlets then we have LLMP booked from 2pm at Magic Kingdom.

Have a great day and thanks for reading!

You did stay up late for day 2! 😂 You’re much younger than us though 😂.
I do love a D-Luxe burger!

Day 3

Hello everyone!

We were meant to be having a slower start to day 3 with an offsite breakfast and shopping, but we had overheard someone on the plane saying the character warehouse restocked on Wednesdays so we wanted to be in the queue for 9.30am.

We headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. It was so odd that there were only 3 women in there when we arrived and they left soon after so for the entirety of the rest of our breakfast we were the only ones in the whole place!

Here’s the menu -

DH chose a tea for his first drink and I had an OJ. Later he had a coffee and I had a second OJ.

DH chose a make your own breakfast opting for sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrown casserole, apples, grits and biscuits.

I teased him for having the apples with his breakfast, but he enjoyed them and said they went nicely with the bacon.

He said he enjoyed his breakfast- it was ‘nice’.

I chose a portion of hashbrown casserole and pancakes with peaches.

The menu seemed to have changed since we last visited and I couldn’t see just pancakes on the menu but it was no problem ordering them.

The hashbrown casserole wasn’t as nice as I remembered, it was less creamy.

The pancakes were good as were the peaches but just too much. I left a whole one.

The bill was $44.73 and we paid $53.68 leaving 20% tip.

I picked up a few Christmas decorations from the store and then we headed to Vineland outlets.

It was around 9.20am when we arrived and the queue was already around the corner. We were in the second batch of people to be let in.

The people near the front had huge trolleys which they filled with all the loungefly bags meaning when we initially got in there were none left.

I had got chatting to an English lady in the queue for around 25 mins before we got let in. She was after the Winnie the Pooh loungefly, which they did have but none left as taken by all the resellers before we got in.

As we were in the queue to pay the woman’s husband handed me a loungefly he had picked one up for me and for his wife as the cast member had opened another box in the corner of the store. I felt very lucky he had spotted that and it was a bargain too. Tag was $88 and I paid $35.

It’s beautiful-

It was pretty annoying though that the cast members don’t endorse a limit here literally people were walking out with trolley loads of things to re-sell.

Anyway, we did a spot more shopping in Under Armour then headed to Burlingtons nearby to looked around.

We got back to the room and chilled out for around half an hour before heading to Magic Kingdom for the evening.

We want to get a silhouette picture of our dog so queued up for that just off Main Street.

It’s absolutely beautiful-

We were using LLMP and Stanby Skipper again today and managed to do Seven Dwarfs, the train, Tianas, Haunted Mansion, Philharmagic, Country Bears, Peter Pan, Pirates and Buzz.

When we came off Seven Dwarfs I spotted the strawberry lemonade slushy at Friar Nooks that I wanted to try -

It was $6.49 before tax and my favourite drink of the trip so far. It was really refreshing. I used our reusable straw to drink it rather than their paper straw which made a difference.

I’d highly recommend this!

We were peckish by now so I picked up some cheeseburger spring rolls for lunch.

I ate them in Casey’s area as DH went in to get his lunch.

They were $9.50. I didn’t really ‘get’ them on our last trip, but I really enjoyed them yesterday and would get them again.

Dah chose Casey’s and had the chilli dog and fries.

He picked up 2 iced waters with it.

It was $13.62.

He enjoyed this, said it was nothing special but filled a gap and did the job. He would get it again.

We dodged the rain and continued with our rides and mobile ordered from Columbia Harbour House for 7.30pm pick up.

DH had the lobster roll and fries with a lemonade slushy. I had the kids chicken tenders with fries and rice and a Diet Coke.

I paid online using the dining credit and it $35.64.

We only waited around 10 mins for it to be ready and in the mean time found a table upstairs with no issue.

This is probably quite controversial but I’m not a fan of Disney chicken tenders. I didn’t enjoy them last time from here and they weren’t any better yesterday. I just felt there was no real taste to them. The rice was quite sticky, the fries were the nicest part of the meal. The kids meal was only $8.49 which was great value.

We walked down Main Street and popped into the bakery for a snack for me. I really wanted a chocolate chip cookie that we had from Animal Kingdom yesterday (which we ate in bed yesterday morning) but alas they did not have one.

I chose rice Krispy treat instead with m&m’s.

It was $7.44. I ate half of it last night before the fireworks and have just finished the other half whilst writing this.

It was very moreish.

We finished the night with HEA which was a bit soggy, ponchos were on!

It was my turn to fill up the mugs which I picked up and went back out to the food court.

I had hot chocolate (soo yummy) and DH just had a hot water and made a tea using tea bag’s we brought with us.

Dining credit left - $776.72

Step count - 19,337

We were absolutely shattered last night! We don’t usually do long park days but having LLMP for just one day in each park meant we knew we would have 4 longish days getting the rides done then our next visits would be more chilled.

We have Behind the Seeds booked today at 11.30am then the plan is food and wine. We have LLMP and Standby Skipper booked today. We have pencilled in Cheesecake Factory for tonight, but will see how we feel later.

Thanks for reading!

Another long day!

We were in that same queue for Character Warehouse 😂. We didn’t realise they stocked up on a Wednesday and it was just coincidence. I was hoping to get one of the Yoda lightsabers that someone had posted they had for $75. The shop was a total scrum and it was just lucky Marie spotted a couple behind the counter. That was so good of that woman’s husband to be spying the new boxes being opened and grabbing one for you 😂.

Ah it’s a small world! We also spotted Sam and Keira the YouTubers we saw at Magic Kingdom in the queue.

It really annoyed me the amount of items people had grabbed. I guess the moral is to arrive very early next time! Glad you got what you wanted 😊
