It’s frustrating though knowing that loads in that queue are buying to resell. Marie said people were just throwing stuff in trolleys. I suppose Disney don’t care because they’re selling the stuff either way. We’re at Universal on Sunday so might have a look in the I-drive one and see what they have. Marie is so looking for a Loungefly but didn’t see any that weren’t in peoples hands or trolleys!

Better luck for Sundays! If they use the same strategy might be worth hanging around to see if they open any additional boxes around 20 minutes after the store opens.

Great day! Wow I would have taken hours choosing from that cracker barrel menu 😄 I was so close to trying the cheeseburger spring rolls this year and then got my dole whip from Aloha Isle and never went back 😭 they do look good!

I love your Loungefly bag, how kind of that man to nab one for you! I didn’t even bother going in the store in the summer as the queue was enormous. 😬 The frozen strawberry lemonade looked tasty, I’m still not sure about the cheeseburger spring rolls but it’s good that you enjoyed them this time. Another busy day! Xx

Day 4, part 1

We had Behind the Seeds booked at 11.30am this morning so could have a slower start.

I had my 2 bags of apple slices in bed but decided that wasn’t satisfying so we got ready and decided to have breakfast in the food court.

DH had the breakfast totchos and I had the kids waffles.

The totchos had gravy, cheese, bacon, spring onion and egg on them.

The kids waffles came with 2 waffles, one piece of bacon and sausage and a drink - I had a small bottle of water.

Total came to $19.79.

I gave DH my bacon and sausage and poured syrup all over them 🤣 They were nice and good value.

We headed back to the room and packed up our bags and caught the bus to Epcot when we arrived at 10am.

We rode Spaceship earth and Soarin before checking into the tour.

It was an interesting hour, if you are interested in gardening or growing your own food I’d say it would be worth doing.

They gave us a sample of seedless cucumber they grow.

Our plan for the afternoon was to eat around the world, ride Remy then head over to Hollywood Studios where I’d booked LLMP for Slinky dog and Minnie and Mickey’s via Standby Skipper.

Our first stop around the world was Flavours from Fire. We agreed to have one corned beef each and then share other dishes thereafter.

Total for two dishes $13.

The corned beef was salty deliciousness. The crisps were crispy and to me tasted quite like salt and vinegar. It was quite heavy on the cheese flavour food.

Whilst we were eating it sweat was literally dropping off us. It was so hot today, the feel like temperature was 38 degrees.

At this point we agreed to cancel all LLMP and head back to the resort to the pool.

We walked around world showcase towards Germany as I wanted to pick up a gingerbread cookie.

Luckily they had them in stock (I forgot to say I called in the other night but they were sold out). DH chose popcorn.

We had them in a bag and walked towards the exit.

Lucky for us we just arrived and a POFQ bus pulled up. It was so nice to get into the air con!

We agreed to have some lunch in the food court when we got back.

Dah had the beef in gravy and a Blue moon beer and I had a chicken Caesar salad with an OJ.

Total came to $44.54.

DH said the beef was delicious. He said it tasted like we used to make it at home in our slow cooker. An American lady stopped by asking if he had the beef and if it tasted very Cajun.

My salad was lovely. I helped myself to bags of croutons and ranch sauce. It was surprisingly large and filling. I loved it.

We headed back to the room which had been cleaned so have had a shower and agreed to laze around for a while.

I’ve just cracked open the cookie and unfortunately did not like it. It was as though someone had accidentally dropped the lid from the gingerbread pot, it was so so overwhelming.

Total for the popcorn and cookie was $15.21.

Remaining credit - $855.44.

Steps so far today - 10,396.

We have a few options for tonight, either Disney Springs for Eet or Blaze (again) or offsite to Cheesecake Factory or Longhorns.

We’ll see how we feel later. For now it’s nice to be relaxing in the air con! I may even treat myself to a nap.

Thanks for reading! I’ll try to update part 2 later.

What a shame about your gingerbread cookie especially when you made the effort to try and get it in that heat! Hope you have had a nice chilled day at FQ.
Your Loungefly is really nice it was lovely of the husband to grab one for you-I am surprised Disney doesn’t limit bulk buying its crazy when you see them.
