Pleased you got the Loungefly. So annoying when resellers grab every one that's on the shelf.
Those totchos look delicious 😋

Thanks! We have been enjoying (mostly) everything we have had so far!
It’s funny with the cheeseburger spring rolls as I really didn’t enjoy them last time, but I’m glad I gave them a second go. I haven’t had a dole whip yet will need to rectify that soon! I know, I could have kissed him! So kind. The strawberry lemonade slushy was just soo good! Thanks and yes very annoying! It’s most annoying that the store doesn’t stop them either. Oh well! I’ve got a cookie lined up for my breakfast in bed this morning 😋 I had such high hopes for the cookie, it’s been on my list for literally years - so disappointing. I tried to popcorn and it was good, we haven’t ever had it before but will be a go to again. It was sooo hot yesterday which made the awful cookie even worse knowing we had walked extra to get it! We felt lovely and chilled after our afternoon at the resort though. The thing is re the character warehouse they would sell the items even if they put a limit on them because there must have been 100 people in the queue! Yes looks can be deceiving! It was quite difficult to eat I thought it would be quite sturdy but it was falling apart in my hands! Me too! My first loungefly! DH enjoyed the totchos. You’re on your way now! Have a fabulous time! |

Day 4, part 2
So after relaxing at our resort we decided on a bit of a split evening, firstly Longhorns for tea then over to Disney Springs.
We have a hire car but like to catch an Uber or Lyft evenings so that we can both have a drink if we like. This time Lyft was the cheapest both ways. We visited the Vineland Longhorns and were seated straight away in a booth. Here is the menu - DH chose a blue moon and I had a strawberry lemonade. We both decided on a ribeye steak, DH had his with fries and I had a loaded baked potato with mine. I had Caesar salad and DH had the mixed salad. The waiter asked if we wanted bread and butter, DH said no and I said yes… so we were brought the bread and butter 🤣 The loaves were no where near as big as they used to be, but it was nice bread and we still left quite a chunk of it. The salads came out around 5 minutes before the mains. They were very fresh, a huge bowl of each. We really enjoyed them. Then our mains arrived. Mine - And DH’s - The piece of meat was beautiful, it cut really nicely and was huge. However, I didn’t really think the steak was seasoned very well at all. It was meaty but with no real flavour. I enjoyed my meal at Texas Roadhouse a lot more than this one. DH enjoyed his equally. This is what was left after we had eaten - a whole other meal there! The waiter wasn’t as good as the server we had had in Texas Roadhouse either. The lemonade was refillable but we had to ask another server for a second. He also took quite a while to bring out the bread and the bill. Total came to $70.46 and we left $13 cash tip. We won’t be rushing back to Longhorns again in a while which is a shame because we have always enjoyed it in the past. We caught a Lyft over to Disney Springs and got dropped off by the Christmas shop. We picked up our $200 gift card having been served by a lady from Birmingham UK and also did some damage to the tune of almost $200 in Rob Jon - I loved it in there! We did some more browsing walking as far as Sugar Boo before DH declared his feet were killing him and he wanted to try to find some walking sandals. We ventured back the way we came but couldn’t find any in the shops en route. I was a tad annoyed as had my hopes on Salt and Straw, Everglazed or Gideon’s but none of that happened. Instead, I picked up chocolate chip cookies from Goofy’s and have my sights set on one of them as my first breakfast of the day! I will post photos / receipt as part of day 5. Remaining credit - $655.44 Steps - 16,139 Today we aren’t doing any parks, we’re having breakfast and lunch out whilst doing some shopping, possibly some pool time later and we have Ohana booked for 6.50pm. Thanks for reading! |

I was complaining about the rain then had to head back to the hotel because it was too hot - it can’t win 😂
Thank you! |

You've had some lovely meals in the food court - great that you've got some good options so close to your room! Those totchos especially look so delicious.
Funny that you felt your Longhorns steak wasn't really seasoned. We haven't been back since 2019 as when we visited, I felt like my steak was covered in pepper to the point I had to scrape it off!

Day 5, part 1
Hello from POFQ pool 👋
Our first breakfast this morning consisted of those delicious chocolate chip cookies we picked up from Goofy’s Candy Co last night at Disney Springs. Total for 2 - $10.63. Not sure they were as nice as the AK ones, but DH seemed to think they were the same. We were heading to the Premium Outlets International today to try and find DH some suitable footwear so decided to have breakfast along the way. We ended up deciding on First Watch noting it was a firm favourite with Dibbers. We went to the one on International Drive. It was a very warm welcome with two staff opening the doors for us upon entry. This was the menu - DH decided on the honey bacon Brussels hash and I had the Floridian French Toast. To drink I had the blazing dragon and DH had the coffee which was free refills. They brought us a really lovely bottle of cold water too. My drink was so refreshing. It didn’t taste too sweet and had a delicious flavour. Would highly recommend. Our breakfast didn’t take too long to come out despite it being busy in the restaurant. DH loved his, he said it wouldn’t be something he would normally choose but enjoyed the flavours and the fact it was something different. His only complaint was the portion size was huge - he came out feeling very full! My French toast was lovely. I don’t think I’ve ever had French toast before but I liked the consistency and the fruit was great. Overall a lovely breakfast, it was nice to be somewhere with other people! Service was as good too. Total came to $54.58 including a 20% tip. Would highly recommend. We headed for the outlets and had a good wander around stopping at Starbucks for a large strawberry acai for $6.66. DH got some sandals from Sketchers and I got a cheeky 50% off pair. We also picked up some items from Billabong and I picked up a spirit jersey for $29.99 and a Starbucks tumbler for $12.99. We also picked up some hand sanitizers from Bath and Body works - 6 for $10. They had the new Aerial loungefly bag in the Character Warehouse if anyone is interested in that. We decided to spend the afternoon at the pool so headed back stopping at the food court for lunch. DH had the Italian sandwich which had ham, cheese, tomato and salami on it. It was light enough for him after his heavy breakfast and he enjoyed it. I had another Caeser salad which was delicious. Total $23.52 for both. We put a wash on - DH’s trainers and some underwear to start with to see how we got on as we have never used the washing machines in resort before. Everything has come out ok so we may do more before we leave. We have had a couple of drinks by the pool, DH had an IPA and I had a Pina Colada. Total $26.09. Tonight we’re at Ohana and will most likely head over to Disney Springs if it stays dry. Thanks for reading 👋 |

We love First Watch for breakfast! Both your choices look lovely and they do great drinks too. My DH loves the refillable coffee too. 😁 Sounds like you did well with your shopping too!
