Can thoroughly recommend the Carriage House in Las Vegas. Have stayed there twice and will again in June. If you book direct you should get for around $100 per night. It's a few minutes to miracle mile mall and the strip very clean and friendly. It has a pool but no casino the tee fore no resort fees.

Seems ridiculously high ..
I don’t pay that and I’m there over 3 very busy weekends when hotels where I am are full due to racing teams booking them up Granted July 4th holiday will have some effect but shouldn’t for your entire stay . |

Wow! I know that it is close to July 4th, but for all of them to be in that price range truly floors me. I’m sorry you didn’t have better luck looking around at these other hotels.

Just bumping the thread to say we are having exactly the same problem - going to do the Pacific Coast Highway down to San Diego at the end of August and the hotel prices are crazy - I know it's labor day weekend at the beginning of september but even out of these dates our usual favourite brands of Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites are coming out at over £250 a night. Doesn't seem to be much difference between those and airbnb's either
Will book some rooms we can cancel and hope rates may come down a bit nearer the time! |
