so i am buying a one day park to park ticket in order to do the harry potter train thingy

what is my best way to do this day
which park should i go to first?

It's sort of up to you.

I would suggest going to Universal Studios first, doing rides like Despicable Me, Simpsons, Mummy, Transformers, and Gringotts of course, then getting the Howarts Express over to Hogsmeade to go and visit Hogwarts. There you can ride on Forbidden Journey before doing the rest of the park.

If you want to follow in Harry�s Footsteps, then definitely start at Universal Studios and explore that park before heading to IOA. Diagon Alley has so much to see and do. Check the opening times as one park is often open later than the other. If you head to IOA later in the day, you might find the Hogsmeade area has quietened down a bit too
