Alamo int & std SUV line
Last May we booked a standard SUV with Alamo brits. Went straight to the garage. And asked for the standard SUV line up. We were directed to a row containing only intermediate SUVs when I pointed this out, they said they were all the same category and so just pick from that line. I wasn't happy with the choices as they were too small for our needs. But after waiting a few minutes they drove a Ford Edge into the line, and so we took it, because at least it was from our size group.
Is this always the case that they have just one row for both? In which case should we just book an intermediate SUV for less money, if you can take a standard from the line anyway? |

The Employee was talking rubbish sadly.
As you enter the row the Standards are on your left and the Intermediate on the right. However the drivers are known to dump them in any gap they find so make sure the code is correct for what you have paid. A Standard is SFAR An Intermeidate is IFAR

Ah I see, thank you.
It did say SUV above the row on the right too. But there were only massive cars there. They told us that these were only full size and that we'd have to pay to upgrade. Fingers crossed things would be more obvious this year. |
