Brides - what to wear when getting ready?

I’m getting married a week on Saturday... everything is sorted but I’m not sure what to wear in the morning while I’m getting my hair and make up done.

It needs to be something I don’t have to pull over my head, but I’m a bit curvy and wouldn’t suit those silky bride dressing gowns that people seem to wear!

There’s also a high chance I’ll be having a couple of photos taken so my holey PJs won’t cut it. Can anyone offer any reasonable suggestions?

Thanks!

Button-ups. ...Shirt dress? Long shirt and leggings? You want to be comfortable, too.

Have a fantastic wedding!

Yes thinking maybe just a new pair of button up pyjamas.

Or maybe one of my OH’s shirts with some pyjama bottoms.

Thank you both! I realise it’s not the most pressing of problems

Blimey I have no recollection whatsoever of what I wore whilst hair and make up was being done.

I completely forgot about a dressing gown, I ended up wearing a vest top-not great when I had a floor length veil

I had this thought today, have emailed our venue and I’m going to put my bra and knickers on, and use the hotel robe. I too didn’t want one of those short slinky things.
My panic also is that my dress has to go over my head, after hair and make up so I’m now worried about having it all done nice then ruining it all
