Universal tickets - start date
I'm about to buy Universal tickets but I'm not sure yet which date will be our first day there, how important is the date you enter when buying tickets online?

Where from?
We got ours from ATD and also asked us for an arrival date, however the tickets were valid through to the end of 2019 but only became active upon first use/scan. I think they ask for the arrival date to ensure you are paying the correct prices and so they ensure they send you tickets which have the correct valid to/from dates, correct me if I'm wrong though!

Directly from the Universal website.
That's what I was hoping, but wanted to check before booking anything

They are from first day of entry, including annual passes. First entry is what activates the ticket and then the clock starts.
Some tickets have a must be activated by date, but these will be the buy 2 , get 3 free days that need to be activated by mid-December. Recently annual passes were giving 3 or 6 months extra free, but again for these they needed activating by 4th April to get the extra months. So no good for someone on the UK who was going later, although you would get the 12 months as normal. Universal do seem to be doing varying prices according to date now for single days, so there maybe an issue here. However, you would just pay the difference. Edited at 01:36 AM. |
