Mk fireworks and weather

We have fp booked for Friday at mk and the weather looks like it could be an aweful evening so wondered would Disney cancel the fireworks display at all if its thundery and showery?

The storms/showers are often short lived so they rarely cancel them but they do delay them.
We had an ADR at the California Grill one time and they were due at 9pm but due to a thunderstorm, they were put back an hour and eventually the display started at about 10pm. They allowed everyone to stay at the restaurant, even those who had finished their meals.

They very rarely cancel the fireworks. They usually delay them until a spot in the weather where its forecast to be nicer.

Brill thanks its saying Friday night 90% at the moment but they’re open late that night so maybe they’ll put them back like u say!
Couldn’t have been any other day that we didn’t have fp lol
Every other day its forecast sun but we’ve had a lot of sudden bad weather this last 3 weeks, the other night was crazy we was in bed and I heard something in the pool outside so went and looked and it was like a monsoon with crazy gusts, 2 mins later it had gone😂
Hopefully the weather plays its part Friday night as we’ve been mk loads of times but never wanted to stay for the display due to congestion and I’m dreading it but something we have to do this time for the sproggs!

We were told by a CM that once they are loaded they have to be fired.

Have been there when they have been delayed before. It was pretty good as a lot of the crowd had already left.
