universal 2nd week in June

Hey anyone been at this time of year and bought or not bought the express passes

if you bought them did you find they were wasted slightly and if you didn't buy them did you find the crowds warranted them?

we are only going for 1 day to both parks

Hagrids coaster opens on 13th June and the park will be mental. Go before that.
Can�t help with express pass as we go in July and are here now and normally have express pass as we tend to stay at a universal hotel that offers the express.

We are there that week as well and had originally planned 12th and 13th for Universal, however think we will now go 11th and 12th.

Would love to go on the Hagrid coaster, however crowds likely to be crazy!

What we may do is go into the park first thing on 13th and try to get a return time for it (My son has DAS entitlement). We would go to Volcano Bay or something for X hours before the return time. My only concern would be what the queue would be like even for that return time as he would struggle to stand in this. I will make the decision when we are there but not the end of the world if he dont get on I suppose - will just need to return at some other time!

any excuse to return sure why not..

this is what i have decided to do
go to IOA Hogsmeade explore
take train to Diagon alley, explore
then do US backwards
leave and go to IOA then for the marvel land etc..
we HATE getting wet on rides so executive decision to skip them as been made

Hagrids coaster wont be on Express for a while when it opens. But apparently will be open for extra hour opening.

no decisions have been made about express passes or if it will be part of early opening yet

No idea how old your son is obviously, but there will be a height limit of 48" as it travels over 50mph. Hope he is tall enough. 🤞

I would think you'd have a decent shot at Hagrid's soft opening on the 11th/12th as well.
