Alamo booked by third party

Hi All,

I received this from alamo:
I'm happy to clarify. Due to the your reservation being paid and booked through a travel team voucher, you will have to go to the counter. As mentioned, the online check in you completed does speed your rental process at the counter. For future reference, you will find the skip the counter requirements below:

• Reservation must be at a rental location that offers “Skip the Counter” Check a location for eligibility.

• Reservation must not exceed 30 days.

• Reservation must made at least 24 hours in advance.

• Reservation cannot include certain add-ons that need to be added to vehicle (i.e. mobility devices, etc.).

• Reservation cannot be prepaid or direct billed to a 3rd party (i.e. Voucher, Business Account, etc.).

• Renter must use a major credit card to secure rental (debit cards do not qualify).

• The name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card.

• Additional local deposit requirements may apply.

Does this mean I have to go to the kiosk even though I have the voucher with the barcode? 🤔🤦🏻

Ahh, the usual Alamo rubbish E Mail.

I assume you contacted them? Who did you book through please? However. Ignore this total drivel and if you have a barcode go straight to the garage.

I booked with Andy @Discount Florida Car Hire. Yeah I contacted as I just wanted to confirm it, guessing it’s just their way of getting you to the kiosk? 🤦🏻

If. You go onto Andes site and click preregistration and fast tract it will take you straight to the Alamo site to do straight to garage all you need is a print out of the sheet with the bar code

OP. I am somewhat at a loss as to why you contacted them but what's done is done. With a barcode you are fine.

I also contacted Alamo via twitter as I put wrong date birth doing online check in
I put month as day and day month
This was Before I posted on here which Andy confirm it doesn’t matter 👍
Alamo said same as I booked through a third party I need go to counter but like mr T says we have bar code and will go right to garage 👍

Easy mistake to make with American processes. You wont be the first or the last. The times I have nearly slipped up.
