footrest on aeroplane
Can anyone recommend an inflatable footrest or footrest hammock they've been able to use on BA? Something reasonably priced as i'd want to buy 2 of them. Struggled to get the kids to sleep on our last trip- thanks

Last I heard those sort of things are banned on most airlines. If you do a search there have a few threads about this.

I phoned and checked with TC if I could take my inflatable footrest, they said it was fine.
Man to Mco I’ve pulled a muscle in my leg and it just eases the pain First time taking one, just ordered one from Amazon.

Despite claims by companies such as Plane Pal, Fly Legs Up, Jet Bed etc these products are not allowed on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Here is the quote from the BA page on travelling with children.
"All other seat comfort devices are not permitted for use in the cabin. Devices not allowed include, but are not restricted to, seat extenders for children, hammocks for lap held infants, inflatable footrests and devices that attach to the seat to restrict movement or for leg support." britishairways/en-gb...travel/seating |

Anything that attaches to the seat in front is generally not allowed on most airlines. Partly a safety thing, as in the event of an evacuation you may not be able to remove it quickly. Partly a customer service thing, as can you imagine how happy the passenger in front will be with some contraption pulling on the back of their seat?
Inflatable rests that do not attach to the seat may be allowed, you will have to check with the airline. |
