It's already mouldy so can't see how it can have a use by date. Like everyone else days, common sense prevails.
I actually think there's nicer blue cheeses out there than stilton as well. Blacksticks is one of our favs as well. Asda extra special blue is lovely, it's creamier than Stilton.

This and sneaky sods have even started withdrawing products over Xmas to stop you trading down. Try and find a multipack of fun size choc that isn't a selection box right now!

Oh if only i could eat Stilton. Something about it does me no good at all. It's not the mould, i've tried white Stilton and that has the same disastrous effects...

Blacksticks is very good, as is Shropshire Blue.

Ha ha. Awesome stuff in my view.

Isn't it strange how we all have different views on food items. Some love fish, some hate it some love dairy etc etc.

Good job we are all different.

By the way, why does Parmesan cheese stink!

Since having my severe allergic reaction to penicillin, I have to avoid mouldy bread and cheese! Although Stilton is fine, as it’s not Penicillin! No more cutting the old bit off a block of cheese. And any bread a few days old goes to the birds!
I’m old school and sniff anything that might be out of date.

Is that why Mrs Morrow sniffs me? Because I am past my 'best by date'
