Starter ideas please?

Dinner guests tomorrow night, the menu so far is...

Chicken, chorizo & king prawn paella served with tiger bread
New York cheesecake with berry coulis

I usually do either camembert baked in focaccia which I think will be too heavy with the carby main course and heavy pudding or we just have anti pasti (olives, cold meats, stuffed peppers, mozzarella with sun-dried tomatoes etc.) in the kitchen before going through for dinner, but we're having to section the house a bit due to our puppy having her first season so would rather just get the guests straight into the dining room.

Any inspiration please?

You could just put the anti pasti in the middle of the table as the starter or canapes handed round with a pre dinner drink before heading to the table?

Agree with Antipasti. Simple but tasty.
