Mobile Best Prepaid Card

Just looking for some pointers as to the best one, we had the Monzo card last year but it’s been cancelled because we didn’t open a bank account with them.

TIA

I had the revolut card, I loved it that much I still use it at home. You can turn part or all of it off on the app (so you can turn off on-line shopping or the whole card) when you do use it you get an immediate notification of the transaction plus a running total of the days so you can keep track of how much you are spending each day. You can instantly top it up as long as you have internet connection (we did this in Florida when we had wifi) and convert to dollars (or whatever alternative currency you want) whenever the exchange rate is good, rates are generally very good

We usually use clarity credit card, but this year also have Fairfx cards as well. Hoping not to have problems with either!

Does anyone use a Tandem cashback card or similar fee free card? I don't get the love affair with prepaid cards like Revolut I see evident on many travel forums. Am I missing something?

Other way round for me... I always use FairFX and have never had a problem. And for the first time will be using my Clarity credit card

Travelex cash passport for me, again you put the money on which locks in at the rate you brought it for, there's an app which you can check your balance and you can top it up, I've used it for a few years now in Europe and USA as its world wide you can chose which currency on the app

Another vote for Revolut. I use it all the time at home as well. The app is easy to use and lets me keep track of spending easily.
