Worry not. You are now good to go.
Skip the counter is not essential and is value added only.

All the garage Guys want is the barcode which you have.

Just checked my print out and it says exactly the same in the bottom right corner As it always does from memory.

You already have the "agreement" by the fact that you have the bar code. Unless you're renting a luxury or a premium the keys will be in the ignition or, if keyless ignition, on the sun visor.

Don't go anywhere near the terminal desk. Straight down to level one and over the road to the garage.
