San Fran Fishermans Wharf hotels
Has anyone seen any good deals/offers that are good for July 19 for any of the following hotels on Fishermans Wharf: Argonaut, Sheraton, Zephyr, Zoe or Hyatt Centric.
Last year we got a near 50% offer on the Argonaut as part of a 5 day promotion I think it was but struggling to find anything for this year. Would have included Pier2620 in the list but think that's due to become a Marriott later this year with building works going on throughout the Summer. Thanks |

For our west coast trip in June I have got some good rates using Quidco and Expedia and did look at the hotels you have named after doing research via Travago which may give better prices. Sad that Pier 2620 is going to be a Marriott as it was such a quirky hotel.

Just be warned of the parking charges.
Have you read Bambi Kate's trippie from last year? They stayed at the Argonaut Hotel and although they loved the hotel, they had a real shocker when they checked out. Here's the day so you can read properly: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1106749 Parking ended up costing $355 for 3 nights for 1 car with all the extras that got added on. We ended up booking The Columbus Inn which is also within walking distance of Fishermans Wharf. It came highly recommended here. It's not fancy at all. But the reviews are great. We have 2 older teens, so have booked a suite which has 2 bedrooms. The kids get a double each and we share a bathroom. It includes free parking and I've paid upfront (through choice, you can pay on arrival) $969 for 3 nights. I'm so pleased. |

We aren't picking our car up until we leave SF so no worries on the parking costs. We've also decided against the Argonaut at this time as the price is just too much and booked the Columbus. We booked direct with the hotel at exactly the same price $969 but on a cancellable rate and will keep checking to see if any better deals come along at any FW hotels between now and the summer

Hi Jo yes I remember yiur recommendation from last year. We had the Columbus booked but then got the offer on the Argonaut so changed at that point. Seem to remember you got a 50% offer on the Zephyr I think it was last year? As things turned out we had to cancel our whole holiday so hoping to get there this year. Everything seems a bit more expensive though - flights, hotels and trips.

Hi FBF
I remember you asking. Sorry you had to cancel Yes last year we did Zephyr on the offer, but would gladly go back to Columbus. I am looking to go maybe December. Hotels are just so expensive in SF. I definitely would not pay the money some are asking. Columbus is older but clean and a great location. Are you maybe going at a different time to bump the price up? We got that good offer because it was "winter" season. Had a look for a few days in June and it was too expensive so giving it a miss this next time. |
