Visiting Disney Hotels
A couple of questions about the Disney Hotels at Disneyland that I'm having trouble finding the answers to.
Is it OK to visit the Disney hotels for a look around? Can non-guests use the Grand Californian entrance to get into the park? We'll be staying at Paradise Pier if that makes any difference to the answers. Thanks for any help. |

I went to the Disneyland hotel last month but we had a breakfast at Goofys kitchen , so we had a look around . Actually I wasn’t that impressed by it
I assume anyone can visit As we just walked right in . The California hotel has barriers and security but I assume that’s to make sure everyone entering the park from the hotel has tickets Last said last year when it was raining they were only letting hotel guests into the hotel from the park |

Stayed at the GCH last year and if things haven't changed in the few months since:
- Anyone can visit the Disney hotels for a look around. - There are 3 entrances into/out of the GCH. The main entrance, the Downtown Disney entrance, and the DCA entrance. - Main entrance: only GCH guests can enter the GCH. Anyone can leave by this way. - DTD: no restrictions as far as I know. - GCA: only GCH guests can enter DCA before 11am. No restrictions on entering the GCH (but as Daytonababe says there may be other restrictions?) Hope this helps and definitely go have a look around the GCH, I loved the lobby and the fireplace!
