It depends on whether you think the Hogwarts Express is worth the extra $60+tax per person. I don't think any one ride is worth $64 dollars myself, but it might if the OP is a big Harry Potter fan.

i used Orlando Attractions and it was a 2 Park 3 Day Base Ticket (2019) that I purchased. However, can't see it on offer currently on OA although the Park to Park version is advertised at £212 pp. I paid £166 for the base ticket although I did order back in april LAST year.
I can see the 2 park 3 day BASE ticket on Undercover Tourist although it comes out at roughly £190 based on current exchange rate - showing at $244. Universal have 2 Park 5 day ticket (no hopping) for $240 once tax added but that has to be booked by June, used by Dec 20 and you would need to do the 5 days within 7 days of your first visit. I personally would go and see what it's like, you can always buy on the day if you really need to.

I was going off the difference in price between a 3-day base ticket and a 3-day park-to-park ticket on Universal's website. As you say, you can probably get the park-to-park ticket cheaper.
