I got breakfast for our first day at 180 days out and lunch for a couple of days later. At first I could only get breakfast for 8.40 but I have managed to move it forward to 8.10. (I had to use the website because the app wouldn't recognize my 180 days.)

Sorry. Forgive me if I’m missing something, but I’ve just had a quick look on MDE for reserve dining and BOG is available for both breakfast and lunch tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.
Is it really necessary to book 180 days in advance, or if your not too fussed about the time can you still get bookings at relatively short notice?

Booking for the next day is sometimes easier than booking in advance because of cancellations. Here we are talking of advance reservations which some people prefer to leaving it to chance.

Booking costs nothing, so if you’re thinking about it, you might as well book it

That’s how most feel. Some book the same place for several days and then decide when they’re there which day they’ll visit so they cancel the others

Last August we went to breakfast at BOG (we had lunch and dinner there in 2017) but any time I checked during the our stay there there was no more spots available so I wouldn’t be banking on there being availability

BOG is an outlier though, most places will have availability right up to the day before (character meals included)

Yes thanks. I clearly was missing something, I’ve just checked availability for my dates in October and there’s nothing for the whole fortnight!
Guess I’ll be hoping for last minute cancellations.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully I will get the reservations I want once they release them! Another problem I have is there are 8 of us but hopefully plenty of space available.

I’m really nervous about this, our ADR day is tomorrow and we get the 180 + 10 and the availability seems so low compared to our last trip in 2017. Hoping to get a breakfast and a lunch as we are on QSDP.

I have tried a few times over the last few weeks and only managed to get a lunch reservation once, it’s my ADR day next Sunday so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it will be easier at 180+10

I have never seen availability as difficult as it is right now. I have had four trips planned over the last two years but the one I have for September this year is by far the one with least availability. Not just for BOG either, but generally, I have struggled to get restaurants like Spice Road Table! I think GE has already had massive impact on crowd levels. It is going to be busy...

I'm really struggling to get BOG breakfast on 2nd October and lunch on 4th October. I had all the ADR's booked, then bought our holiday forward by 1 week due to great flight prices with Tui for 29th September. I've managed to get our table service meals (although lost Storybook Dining), but no luck with BOG. I've set up a reservation finder with Touring Plans - fingers crossed.
