Question anyone booked a package with virgin atlantic?

Looking at quotes for next year and saw virgin alantic now allow you to add hotel/car hire and make a package. They are quite a bit cheaper than virgin holidays and other than the fact you can't get vroom via altantic I can't see any real difference? is there anything I'm missing

One thing I should have mentioned is they only do quotes in line with available flights so up to 11 months out where as virgin holidays quote for much further out dates

Thanks for pointing this out, i didnt know they did a full package.

Some fantastic deals to be had, cheaper than Virgin holidays for some dates, and can filter bed and breakfast etc. Well worth adding to the list of package companies to check prices with for bookings.

I think you can as I have just done dummy booking and it gave me the option of a suggested deposit, pay in full or part payment also gave an option of paying on two cards.
I also read before that you can use VA miles against flight and hotel packages but couldn't see the option to do so.

It's a legal requirement in the UK, due to an outdated piece of legislation preventing airlines from being ATOL-holders. Therefore, they set up technically separate companies (VH, BA Hols, Jet2 Hols etc) which they still control, but can be ATOL-bonded and sell all the packages.

We booked with them a couple of weeks ago. They were a little cheaper and got double flyer miles.
