Costco Car Hire - Hertz Destination US and Canada - Early Booker Sale 15% Off

I've just booked using Costco Car Hire and they have an offer 'Book a midsize or larger car for a minimum of 5 days in the US or Canada and save 15% for rentals picked up between 1st May 2019 to 30th June 2019.'

This has worked out cheaper for me than Alamo Brits who I normally book through and as far as I can work out includes the additional driver and similar insurances that Alamo include.

For those who want to sign up to Costco today.

Groupon have an offer on. For £33.60 you get a 12-month Costco membership, a £10 in-warehouse voucher, 2 whole chickens, batteries and carrot cake.

Freebies include: Kirkland Signature carrot cake | Kirkland Signature fresh whole chicken twin pack | Kirkland Signature 48 AA batteries

What a bargain. Not that I like their chickens!

Ha ha. Does that mean they don't have a leg to stand on?

No it must be me as I'm finding chicken is awful nowadays no matter where you buy it from. Tasteless and stringy

No I dont think it is sadly. I think they are all packed full of chemicals.

Anyhow, how did this post go from cheap car hire to chickens. Whose fault is that. Oh yes me!

We have a great local butcher, their chicken is so so much better than any supermarket offers. more expensive, but you would expect it to be.

Costco meat is top quality, very hard to beat and excellent value compared to local butchers

I tried booking Hotels through Costco last year - but it had been changed to USA members only - I had used it the year before - so car hire in US for UK visitors is OK? Will have a look.

Hertz seem to be having sales at a few places. Ebookers prices are really good at the moment when you log in.
