Love the heat but not the crowds. Best time to go?
Hi all,
Well it’s been nearly a year since our last trip and bug is well and truly starting to bite again This time we are not tied to the school holidays so as the title says when’s the best time to go? We love the heat of August but it would be nice to go when it’s not so busy (if there is such a time) looking forward to hearing the pro’s and con’s of different times of year. Thanks everyone |

September is a good month. Still very hot but less crowds.

Saint rob you are just like us ! So we have decided to fly out 25th Aug, 2nights in RPR then 19 nights in a villa. We love the summer weather very much, have tried June twice but got rain, rain, rain ! October not that hot ! So are returning in 89 days😂 and can’t wait !
I can’t believe that we can now travel outside school hols and bag those bargains but haven’t chosen to do that however got PE seats cheaper then what we payed for economy in term time ! Parks are so much quieter the end of August so we are hoping for a perfect trip ! |

We go in September and it's still hot. It's not as busy as the school holidays but we have noticed the crowds increasing.

Another vote for May. Last couple times we went was late July early August due to job but first time there was May. The weather was lovely, virtually no rain, hot but no oppresive. The parks were soooo much less busy and so much more enjoyable. Give May a shot you will not be disappointed.

Beginning of May or September for heat and lower crowds
We love beginning of December but weather isn't guaranteed. It was in the 30s last couple of years though.

I would definitely say April and May is the absolute best time to go, for both weather and crowds... not late May, though, as US school holidays begin to kick in...
a week or so after Easter will be good for prices, and you can wait to book your flights so you get the best prices, too
