Would you go to Florida for less than a week

We've been a few times over the years but there would be just two of us this time.

Looking at 5 nights, wouldn't do Disney just universal, it's a good price.

Would have to put our dogs in kennels for the first time and also I may be having an op on my back. I don't want to go for too long re the dogs but also not sure how many rides I can do now, so glad Ive done them all over the years.

It may be more of a chill and a little retail therapy 😀 as I'm also still struggling to walk very far.

I know people go to Vegas for a short break but to Florida it just doesn't seem right. Trying to convince myself that it's enough time for a break.

If it was a good price then yes. I generally wouldn’t go for less than ten days as it doesn’t seem worth paying the flights for less but if it was a 5 day trip or not at all, I’d take it!

Yes definitely, we have done 5 days twice before and doing again in July. Feels long enough to be worth the flight when we are there, not that I mind the fight.

No, I would head to NY and save Florida for the longer trips.

Yes if the price is right, we’ve been for a week and had a fantastic time.

I would go for 5 days if just doing universal and shopping if the price was right. Wouldn't want to pay much more than £1000 each though for that long.

If you can't do rides I'd look more at a city break for that length of time.

Maybe Tampa or Miami if Florida was a must but not Orlando.

It would depend on the flight times but in in general yes.
I've done three nights to Vegas which is further before now , hit the ground running. With a short trip it's more like a couple of late nights rather than full blown jetlag which is a plus.
We are doing a week in September as my husband is short on leave left , but that's more of a relaxing break with no parks as it's south Florida then a cruise not Orlando.
If the price is right, why not , we paid just over £300 direct and got a bargain deal on the cruise as well.

Some late deals with Tui going shortly. 7 nights for 2 at under £1200 all in.

I would do a 5 night stay if the price was right.

Plenty to do in and around Orlando without even touching a theme park. Sunning, shopping, eating alone can be very time consuming For some it's fine , for others who'd spend the whole week longing to be in a theme park it isn't.
I find city breaks mean a lot of walking so as the OP says walking is an issue at the moment I suspect it's not an option though.
