LGW north terminal- places for breakfast ?

We are flying from LGW to MCO on august 2nd and am looking for recommendations where to eat breakfast. We are on the early Virgin Flight and have booked through virgin holidays

I am considering the v-room which I believe costs £20 per person but appreciate any suggestions

Thank you.. BB

I’ve always found there’s not enough choice in the north terminal to the south. But we’ve always headed to the Red Lion if we don’t have a lounge booked, it’s a Wetherspoons and find you can’t go wrong with their breakfasts. It won’t cost £20 a head there but depends on what you want, we’re not big eaters before flying so it suits us as can get lighter bites there

Cross the road to the Premier Inn. It’s around £9.50 for an eat all you can buffet breakfast and it is free for those under 16. You can take as long as you like!

If you prefer to be really adventurous, you can go 125yds further to the other Prem Inn next to the Petrol Filling Station.

Another vote for the Weatherspoons. Great brekkie and doesn't break the bank.

Book the V Room.
Can’t go wrong with that.

Interesting comments about the premier inn - we are booked in there the night before but I've spent far too much of my working life in them to have a holiday breakfast even though the breakfast (and their meal deal) is very good value for money

Thanks for the suggestion dibbers- all contributions welcome

We absolutely loved the V room, well worth £20 A head. By the time you've bought a cooked brekkie and a coffee in somewhere else you'll be at £15 anyway. The V-room has so much more.

I have some pics at the start of my food report in the dining reviews forum

You could always pop across to south terminal too. Have you had a look on the Gatwick website? It gives details of all restaurants in both terminals including menus.

I tried to book the v-room this morning but here is no capacity so current thinking is that we may have breakfast at the PI before making our way to the terminal.

We had breakfast at the premier inn before our last flight. It was lovely. You’re so close to the terminal there too.
