Disney Dolphin hotel

Hi

Just had a brainstorm and have changed our 4 night Fort Lauderdale stay to the dolphin hotel in Disney (much to my DH dismay lol). We're not visiting any parks apart from an after hours event at Hollywood studios so does anyone have any tips for staying here ? We have a lake view room booked, will it have a balcony ?

No tips, but be prepared to pay for overnight parking and a "resort tax". You're probably looking at adding an extra $50 per day to whatever you've paid already.

We�ve booked with virgin holidays so the parking is free. I�ve looked on the VH website but can�t find any info on a resort fee but will be prepared just Incase 😊

If there is a convention on it will be really busy at breakfast time then they all go into their meeting and it is lovely and quiet by the pool

We are staying here in July, the resort fee is $31.50 per day. Not all garden view rooms have balconies.
