Advice Needed Ref 1 Night Disney Stay Magic Band

Please can I have your thoughts on a 1 night Disney stay. I have booked a night (24 July) half way through our trip to stay at All Stars just so that we have the experience and the added bonus of 60 day FP for the check in and check out day. Our plan is to visit the Disney parks before this overnight stay and just wondered how it worked with the magic bands. We have some from a previous trip (which I was hoping to use as they are on the MDE) or will everything be placed onto the new ones we receive with our one night booking?

Have I made a massive boo boo and need to change our overnight stay to earlier in the trip or keep as it is and use the old magic bands

Old magic bands will work you just may need to ask at check in to check they will open your room door though.
