Mobile Clayton Hotel at Manchester Airport

Flying on 3rd July from Manchester and staying in CSR. Travelling from Glasgow and was looking at this hotel to stay in the night before, just saves us driving during the night. Anyone stayed here and can recommend?

We have stayed before and staying again in October. No problems and a nice hotel. We have booked through hotels.com with Tesco clubcard vouchers.

There are nicer hotels around the airport but they are much more expensive and really not worth the price if it's just a bed before getting the plane that you are looking for.

All things considered for the cost it's hard to beat Clayton for value for money - it's clean, it's comfortable and you don't need to take out a mortgage to pay for it

we're doing the same as you OP! we're driving down the night before (in Sept) and staying in the Clayton. We're leaving our car there while away also. Seems super convenient being so close to the terminal

If you've got time Salford Quays is also a decent place for a meal and a look around the Lowry gallery (or even take in a show)

Stayed there in February. Nice hotel. Good value and the restaurant was good too. Transfer to airport was easy too. We’d stay again.

Hi, I've seen this on another Orlando facebook group thought you might me interested.

Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport - WARNING

If you are considering leaving your car at this hotel whilst going on holiday, then read this first:

We returned from Las Vegas to find that our front numberplate had been unscrewed and placed inside the car. The hotel knew nothing about this and blamed the car parking company that they subcontracted out to. Two weeks on and neither the hotel nor the car parking company can offer a reasonable explanation as to why this was done - so we can only guess what they did or were planning to do with our vehicle.

Whilst this might seem like a minor issue, we’ve since found countless complaints on Facebook and TripAdvisor about cars left at the Clayton Hotel who had suffered varying amounts of damage.

Bear this in mind if you are planning on staying here - we’ve cancelled our next stay.
