Mobile Down Days

Evening all. Well a week has passed of our three and a bit week break and I'm officially knackered. I've been coming here for 20 years and although the climate doesn't change the body does.

I have sweated in places I wasn't sure I could, I have blisters that are supporting other blisters and being folically challenged I've had MCO on the phone asking if I can replace one of their runway approach lights.

So. What's different to do after a morning at the pool? We have more time and surprisingly more money than we expected at this stage so outside of the malls, Disney springs etc. What can we get up to? I'm institutionalised into spending shedloads of cash on crap I don't need and other than a nice watch I have no real shopping target.

Wife and daughter are of the same thought and apparently they don't find shooting automatic weapons as appealing as I do.

Have car, have cash, don't have energy. What to do?

I'd go to the beach. Get a cheap motel for a couple of nights at Clearwater Beach or St Petes. Throw a few bits in a bag, Have a couple of days off.

Have a few days r&r round the pool, lay ins, breakfast, pool time, afternoon nap, out for dinner. We always have a few days like this after a full on week as I don’t think we could carry on if we didn’t. The heat can really wipe you out can’t it! After that, jump in the car, head to the beach, dona dolphin trip, go to wild Florida, old town USA for the car shows with dinner after, go to the cinema, state park and go on the Orlando star flyer! All lots to do without taking loads of out you but enough to keep you occupied & spending money 😄

When we need a total brake we chill round the pool then grab a late lunch/early dinner and go to the cinema. Or if that’s too much effort we just watch a movie in the villa. Sometimes your body tells you that you need a rest lol
The day after we are back on track lol

Minigolf, Orlando Eye, Ripley's.

All on I-drive.

Having said that, the kids in our family are delighted to spend a whole day by the pool.
