When do Disney link Magic bands to cards?

We are travelling this Wednesday to our favourite place. We have a reservation book at Disney hotel for the first 2 nights and will have magic bands. Our park tickets were bought separately and we have added them to my Disney account. Our magic bands do not show, it only says magic bands ordered and to pick up at front desk.
I thought they would pre linked to our tickets, am I wrong to think this?

Everything in MDE is linked so if your tickets are linked and your magic bands are ordered then you are all set to go.

You won't see your magic bands until you actually pick them up or they are shipped to you.

No, you’re not wrong.

Both your tickets and your MagicBands (when you get them) are linked to your Disney account. Therefore, you will be able to use the MagicBands to access your tickets via your account.

You will receive the MagicBands at reception of your Disney hotel.

I assume you personalised (= chose the colour and name) your MagicBands?

Yes we personalised the bands, just not showing on account yet..

Oh my days- 3 days to go for you, squeeeee!
Unfortunately, we experienced problems with this 2 years ago and all ended up with grey magic bands... but it was a minor hiccup and we DID eventually get the coloured bands with names on and some sweets to say sorry! Heheheh!
It wil be grand.
