Getting Excited

Mobile Just booked!

I started off the day looking for a last minute beach holiday for my family of 4, but after being given some ridiculously over inflated quotes by the travel agent today (£3600 for a week in turkey anyone?!) I thought to myself “I could go to Florida for that... !”. So I had a casual look to see what prices were like for October and stumbled across what I thought was a great deal with TUI, £2303 for 11 nights, direct flights on the Dreamliner and room only at Clarion Inn. Car hire is supposedly included, but I suspect that by the time I’ve added the extra insurance it may be cheaper to get it elsewhere. A couple of hours later it was booked! I still don’t think it has sunk in yet. So I’ve got some serious planning to do!

We did the same, was looking for a holiday in Cyprus for the end of September. We weren't planning on Florida as we have booked for next September to stay at Coronado Springs,we happened to stumble upon a bargain price to stay at The Clarion Inn,anyway 15 minutes later it was booked! We have the free car and the insurance cost us £165.00 so we went with it 3 adults with car and flights to MCO £1500!

Thats exactly what happened to us when DD was a baby - 2 weeks at a resort i found acceptable in Tenerife vs 2 weeks in florida were the same price (she was 18mth so free to fly pretty much)

we've gone every year since

(ESTA? )

We also booked the Clarion Inn on Sunday after seeing a really good deal for 10 nights flying 30th September from Manchester.
Looks like a few of us have had the same idea

3rd party - i would never use a travel agents policy (or at the very least price check and look at cashback sites)

but we have annual policies in place (and i have medical "issues" that need declaring)
