Are flights likely to drop below 1000? Had a quick look for the outbound flight this morning and Thomas Cook are showing 530 for this alone!

I know it'll be more expensive due to the time of year and wanting a direct flight from Manchester but this seems very pricey!
You’ll be very lucky to get direct for less than a £1000 each in school hols. For a few years now we’ve done indirect, much cheaper and not as bad a flight as I thought it would be. I actually prefer indirect now as it seems to break the journey. Saying that if I had children under 10 I would probably pay the extra £500 each to go direct.

We are looking at going back next year and got a really good deal last year with BA flydrive
We booked in Oct
Man -Lon Lon-Mco
With BA flights

But cancelled these as got
AA flights , through BA flydrive in Jan
Man-Phil Phil-Mco
Even including the £300 deposit lost they were about £500 less ..We really liked AA and would love to do that route again and am wondering if the AA flights will be released the same time as the BA ones or will i have to wait , does anyone know ?
Didn't really have a clue last time as was first time to Orlando and first time booking anything like this so just booked the first thing i saw really

I usually find that AA are about a month behind BA in releasing their flights, they usually release flights the same time as the other main carriers. BA are usually one of the first.

Thanks for this , do you know if that would be the same on the BA flydrive or direct with AA ?
We liked that we could pay the deposit with BA even though we flew AA

From memory when you book a holiday at first just BA flights come up, but then select the car and then go back and amend the flight and you can see other ones there. Try doing a dummy booking to see if things still look the same.

We booked the BA flydrive for last year and had AA flights, it comes up with one option you then click on ‘select flights’ (or something like that) underneath this and other options come up.

AA do release later than BA, I think about a month later as you said.

Don't know whether this is useful for anyone but just looking on BA and they currently are offering LGW>FLL return with an intermediate car for an average of £595 per person. This is based on 2xA and 1xteen for 1st-15th July.

Seemed like a good price for direct flights with a car thrown in.
