Those who have experienced this route before, I'm after some advice please. Our youngest is two. We will lose our pushchair at Manchester and not pick it up again until when we collect our bags at Miami.

Is it worth buying a pushchair we can take on as cabin luggage so we have access between flights? Or is there not enough walking etc to warrant this between flights?

Thank you

There is a lot of walking between terminals at Heathrow. Can you not take it to the gate at Manchester?

There is also a lot of walking when you arrive at Miami until you get to the baggage claim area so yes i would recommend it

Was just trying to find some info as we fly this route very soon! We had a great price and I'm now wondering if its going to be a case of get what you pay for?! We couldn't have afforded going back this year if it wasn't for the cheap price but am definitely worried! With this and the red tide in Sanibel...

We flew this route last Tuesday and the whole experience was excellent for us.

-Manchester to Heathrow arrived early
-Transfer was easy and no rush whatsoever
-Miami flight landed on time
-IFE was best I've ever experienced - never has so much choice for movies before. Must have been 50+!
-Food was excellent along with the free drinks
-Border control tool a while - landing to car took about 2 hours. This was slow but didn't really bother us.

Would book it again in a heartbeat for ten right price.

We flew LHR to MIA last year and are doing the same route ina couple of weeks. I’m sorry you experienced problems OP, but our experience was fine. We generally don’t take much notice of the age of the plane, so I can’t really comment on that, but the seats were comfortable and the food was like all airplane food. We had plenty of drinks served to us during the flight and the IFE was fine. The staff were really friendly and chatty. Can’t remember what I watched, but it all worked fine. We got through MIA really quickly using the machines, we found Miami airport no trouble at all. To those yet to take this route, try not to worry, the OP obviously had a bad experience, but they are not all like this.

Thank you for posting this. We fly this route next week and I must admit I have been worried about this flight. It is nice to read a positive review.
